Trio Louvat Bros.

Muni d’une solide expérience musicale de quelques 25 années, ils présentent aujourd’hui un cocktail unique et pétillant de musiques du Monde.

Un subtil mélange d’influences Bluegrass, Folk, Irlandaise, Jazz, Classique… au banjo, à la mandoline, guitare et basse.

Le Louvat Bros. trio a gagné le « 2012 Liz Meyer Award » à l’EWOB – European World of Bluegrass aux Pays-Bas.

Cet award récompense le groupe de Bluegrass le plus innovant d’Europe.

Ils se sont produits à de très nombreux concerts et festivals en Belgique, à travers toute l’Europe mais aussi aux Etats-Unis (quatre fois à l’Oklahoma  International Bluegrass Festival, IBMA showcase à Louisville …) et au Canada pour ne citer que quelques exemples.

« First of all, these young men must have wonderful parents. They have obviously been guided in the right direction as both of them are real gentlemen. In addition, they are fantastic musicians. When I first met Steve and Jefferson, I was Impressed with their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn bluegrass music, they succeeded very well. « With this short but superb selection of instrumentals and vocals, the Louvat Brothers, Belgium ‘s best-kept bluegrass secret, make an impressive recording debut. Check out Steve’s original composition « Virginia Water », which showcases his complex and compelling banjo playing as well as his writing skills.

And Jefferson ‘s outstanding performances on guitar and mandolin and his strong singing complete the picture.
